Beal Park Tree Planting

On Saturday, February 23, 2002, volunteers from the Buffalo Trail Council Boy Scouts, Permian Basin Girl Scouts and KMB met to conduct the largest tree planting ever recorded in the Permian Basin. Over 600 trees were planted in one day!

Funding for this project was provided by the Beal Foundation, Abell-Hanger Foundation, Chapman Foundation, KMB, Alldredge Gardens and the City of Midland. Below are some photos capturing the spirit of this great event.
